Global Research

The Global Research Institute (GRI) was established in February 1997 in order to supplement the research activities of KUGSIS, and to promote the internationalization of the Korean academia. The areas of research are spread over international commerce, international relations, and international area studies. With the Korea Review of International Studies (KRIS) being its main channel of exchanging research activities with experts outside the campus, GRI pursues diverse cooperation with academia, the business sector and policy makers in related fields. KRIS is an interdisciplinary journal, promoting research in all aspects of international studies, not limited to, international relations, international law, international management, and international economics. In addition, KRIS provides a specialized forum for research activities on area studies.
